Meet Candy Peach, the designer behind our newsletter, The Honu Whisperer! Candy came to Mālama i nā Honu as a beach volunteer in 2015 and quickly took on the task of reviving our newsletter with the first new issue starting in March of 2016. Candy is responsible for formatting and layout, sometimes even contributing a story of her own. Candy went on to join the Board of Directors in 2017 until her departure from Hawaii in 2019 when she moved abroad with her husband and 2 girls. She currently resides in Abu Dhabi, UAE with her husband, miniature dachshund, Marmaduke, and two kitties, Athena and Remy. Her daughters attend university in Scotland.

Although she has left our beautiful island, she continues to dedicate her time to MINH through the newsletter as well as t-shirt design and a number of other behind the scenes tasks.
